Bristol Jolly Boat
Early Twentieth Century Clinker Built Boat

The Bristol Jolly Boat
This boat is a reproduction of an early twentieth century clinker built boat that was used in the rivers and estuary around Bristol to transport goods, people, fish, etc.
The prototype used a GRP hull, with all the imperfections of the original boat the mould was taken from, but used a traditional fit-out with a fair share of mahogany to feast the eye on. In line with its traditional character, beautiful bronze fittings are used throughout, and cream sails and hemplike rope are used for the gaff sloop rig.
Orders for a timber hull are very welcome!
